Triumph without glory brings no peril ?!?

Postby Dave Williams » Mon Oct 06, 2014 2:39 pm

Anybody ...???...or probably Triumph without peril brings no glory...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WKBupmbaqw&feature=youtu.be

There was a link to this in the official "Alpine" twitter feed...
I don't have a scooby as to what is going on here

One possible interpretation that sprang to mind is that the kidnapped individual has annoyed his 3 attractive neighbours with the parking of countless part-finished Alpines in the featured underground car park - and they have had enough...but that would be an entirely unlikely scenario and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, would be purely coincidental.

If anyone has a better explanation, as the Elephant said, "I'm all ears".....

Sure that is most odd. I was seriously considering A110 ownership up until the gun appeared. Not certain there is enough room in one for that sort of thing and a large shooter.
The Alpine cars twitter account is a strange one, it appeared about 2 weeks ago and has since done nothing but spam Alpine media like there is no tomorrow. Whatever and whoever it is must spend 24hours a day digging out and re tweeting any Alpine material they can get their hands on. its @alpine_cars if you are interested but be prepared to be deluged!
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

No idea also. Looks like the intro to a pornographic snuff movie (not that I have ever seen such a thing).

Undoubtedly bizarre :axe

Reminds me of the Muhammad Ali appearance on Parkinson when he asks why when chased by a zombie the person runs and the zombie stumbles along and still catches them! How can a bloke run all night and three high heeled ladies walk and be just a few steps behind? Perhaps he wasn't trying that hard?

On another point though why does an attractive woman driving a nice car always seem much more attractive than if she is driving a bog standard Fiesta?

Makes me think of Matthew Holness' spoof - The Reprisalizer.
