Steve, that is exactly wher the heat shield plates locate.
You could easily make some, straight metal with lip, bolts go through lip.
But would be better if you had a picture.

Yup, happy to make my own as I don't expect ill be able to get hold of a real one, but before I go freestyling with the tin snips, if anyone can show me a picture of the genuine part it would make it much easier for me..
