Is there a separete area for Spiders or are we too few?

Postby gemini » Mon Sep 19, 2005 5:30 pm

Greetings everyone

Im into my 5th month of spider ownership (and loving every minute of it)

Im a regional organiser for the TVR car club and am getting it in the neck for owning and driving a Renault at Club events

Ive just organised and held the National event at Castle Howard (160 cars present - with a 103 car parade through York) and on the Sat lead the run out in the Renault!
It does cause a stir!

I want to know if theres anything happening "Spider" in this country or if theres anyone near me with a similar car?

Ahh Mr Gemini,

you've found us at last, remember we were in contact on the Alpinerenault.fr site.

We are going to the ASAN meeting at Croix en Ternois an hour from Calais this weekend if you fancy it it's an Alpine-Renault only day with timeslotted track time available I think its scheduled for 3 groups per hour, if you check the thread on the french site for this event in the meetings you can view one of the 2 spiders that will be attending the event. check out the meetings section for full details.

The next major renault event is the WSR at Monza in Italy on the weekend of the 22nd-23rd October and it is the last WSR of this season, plus you'll get the chance to take your car round the F1 circuit for a few laps.

Regards

Andy

From the home page, try Photo Gallery, you will see Croix 2003 and 2004. I went in 2004 (GTA t), magic day out, 120 euros and 3 hrs track time in 6 off 20 min sessions. That nice man Rupert took me for a spin in his race spider, well actually it was just the cars in front, that rupert put under so much pressure, that spun. If you can go, do it :D :D :D

Andy,

I will be drinking loads on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am part of a group that is hosting 66 Europeans for a Euro-Party weekend. Which means I can't make Croix.
