I've bought another set of the Lucas discs ,so will get them machined as well and have grooves all round ,then see about pads .I think the existing ferodo fronts will perform better if I can keep the discs cooler .

I'll let you know how i get on with the Mintexes as they've been alright so far on the race car

Cut a groove in the pads too if they don't have one.
