Many thanks to Stephen for providing dimensions and photos of the 2 red lenses. I'm not sure of the implications with the stop/tail lamp and the reflector par, but the fog looks fairly straightforward.

Also I'm not sure about the legality of the clear fog with a non ECE approved red bulb but a 25 LED cluster bulb might be interesting.

Price for the pair of clear indicator lenses and a pair of silver and pair of amber bulbs is £99.50 inc 1st class recorded post - available now. Clear fogs available subject to committment and loan of originals to make mould.

I'm also happy to look at clear front indicators again subject to level of interest and cost involved.

I'll try and post a pic of my Porsche 944 S.2 rear conversions I fitted on Sunday - having problems resizing the pic. This requires the next skill level, so see what you think of the result.

My aim is that my products will add a subtle enhancement to the cars in keeping with the original style and period of design. I spit on anything that has a Lexus look. LOL

I've asked PaulN for a better pic of his Elan with silver bulbs, which make a huge difference to the effect. I will also be able to provide notes and pics on the dismantling procedure.

In the meantime, your input is appreciated.

Although not an Alpine, I thought you might be interested in the before and afters on my 944 rears. This is a much more difficult job as the original lenses have to routed out with a Dremel first.

Fit and finish has to be perfect to provide a watertight seal and I don't have a cover over them to hide any imperfections. I think it totally updates the look whilst retaining all the original style. Reckon it could do the same for the Alpine 8)

What sort of interest would there be in clear fronts?

Evening all,

Thought this might give you a better idea of what clear rears would look like on yours. Am considering doing the fogs clear as well subject to interest from both Alpine and Elan owners.
