I spoke to the manufacturer about using this. They told me it would not be a problem as long as you completely flush out the old fluid as this will remove the water. As it's non hydroscopic no further water will be sucked in to the solution. It's been in my car now for a few years no problem. Hi Spec the brake people felt it was not an issue either.
But had I read that article firstly I may have thought about it more.
All I can say is that when I used to use the standard fluid on a hot day with spirited driving the pedal would lose pressure resulting in the inability to change gear. So I had to bleed the system at least every other year. The silicon solved that instantly. However I do not know about abs seals but I thought silicon was a lubricant so surprised to hear that .

You also have to turn that article on its head to yes water will vaporise causing issues with braking and clutch, but there will be more in a non silicon brake fluid as it absorbs moisture constantly causing the problems, we are discussing here.
