 What about some nitros, that seems to give instant power gains, might even take the old PRV closer to the 400 mark?

dave can you do a better price on that?how quick can you get them?

You are heading for an engine melt down!!! Join the club  ...but i doubt you'll get 300 without a mappable ECU.
How much are the manifolds going to cost.....if he's doing the turbo mount as well it could be worth doing?

Lee.....I didnt even have 300bhp for one day....but once its rebuilt with the larger turbine housing I reckon I'll be there......cant guaruntee it'll last long though! :D

No debt at all....the tops look absolutely fine....there would be pitting if it was down to that. Its just down to wear and tear and possibly too much torque!!!!

I disagree Andy. All nitrous does is increase the amount of oxygen in the cylinder at time of combustion, and used sparingly can actually increase the longevity of the engine (according to the guys that have it fitted at our racing series) :D

Manifolds are nearly ready complete with a new 2 into 1 flange :) 1 5/8" headers into 2" with a big bore collector, also a complete 3" downpipe from the turbo, (took davids recomendation with the adaptor, a little more expensive but it has the v band connection) Ended up getting it from http://www.aet-turbos.co.uk/ they have some tasty turbos on there site :) water injection next to keep those pistons cool 8) then to Noble

Have you got any pics of your new manifolds?

I was under the impression that water injection does not give you anything extra if you have a chargecooler that works efficiently.

Yes, marginal...and it can lose you power if your inlet temps are 40 degrees and below

at last the alpine is back :D the only thing he didnt do was the flexi joints as he thinks they are not needed as there is room in the sleeve joints for it to expand but he did say he would fit them free if there was any probs later down the line just need to put the exhaust wrap on now and get some pics up
