A110 expert needed

Postby roger+thomas » Mon Feb 07, 2022 10:03 am

I'm looking to purchase an A110 (based in Surrey). Does anyone know of an expert who is prepared to evaluate the car for me? I'm the first to admit that my knowledge of the seemingly infinite specifications is limited, and I need expert guidance. Thanks.

New or classic A110? It sounds like classic from your description, but it would probably help if you clarified to be sure.

Ah, when you say based in Surrey I'm guessing you mean the car, not you. Maybe this one?

Sorry, I should have stated that I'm interested in purchasing a classic A110 (1975).

And, no, it's not the one for sale by the dealer 4 Star. The one I'm looking at is a FASA car, which I assume is - more or less - equivalent to the V85 (hope I'm not offending purists), though it comes with a 5-speed gearbox.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could ask Paul Sage. He's in Kent, but he still looks after cars and is on here as a member.
Paul used to run Alpine Autos up in Gipsy Hill, still has an A310 and is involved in the club.
I'm just here for the gasoline.
