Big front brakes

Postby simonsays74 » Thu Oct 27, 2005 6:34 pm

In response to KlausR, i have been looking at bigger front discs and calipers, will 320mm discs fit inside Azev A 16" front wheels or would i need 17" rim??

caliper mounting and clearance seem to be no problem.

have got some red Brembo 4 pot calipers to suit 320mm discs!

You got a tape measure ain't you?!

I think 16"'s and 320mm + caliper may be too close...

What hub height and hub diameter are the discs?. You have to check they fit on turning and not hitting the bottom ball joint or steering arm. Youd be surprised what problems there can be...

You need a 17 inch wheel to run my 325mm discs so 320s may be close with 16s. Depends on how deep the disc sits in the caliper.

I don't think you can fit 320 mm unless you have 17" wheels. With the original Le Mans wheels and the 300 mm discs from the A610, there is only 2-3 mm free space between the caliper and the wheel.
