I've allways liked the NSX, but put off because I thought most of them were auto boxes. A real revvy engine and so weel behahaved is what I read every where.

My mate Clive ( at www.chaters.co.uk the motor book people) inherited an NSX from his dad and had to sell his A310.
He loves it. He's not really mechanical and doesn't have time to drive it that often so the Honda reliability is purfect for him. He does admit that it's a bit souless but the performance..... :D

Thats the new, new NSX, much more than the stated power.

The old one does 0-60 in 5.7, 14sec quartermile, 0-100 in around 14 seconds..

dont no about an nsx but i swapped for the day with a R32 and my god what an unbelieveaball car this one had 420 bhp at the wheels and stuck to the road like glue and just did what was asked of it. O and theres the brakes when i did an emergence stop it felt like my internall organs should have been on the windscreen. but would i swop for good :?: NO because the alpine at 40 mpa it gives me grate plesher :) at 70 puts a smile on my face :D at 110 it scers me  and over 140 i start pissing miself  and always will.

If you think GTA parts are expensive try checking out NSX prices, £6000 for a steering rack and thats not fitted including fitting you will be looking around £7000. Dont give me that crap..... Hondas are reliable because belive me when they go wrong its £££££££££££ at least GTA some parts are resonable and available second hand from our Director Stephen. Ill stick to my GTA thanks its more radical, or buy a Integra Type R they are much more fun...

Top Trumps

Postby Tony Smith » Thu Mar 30, 2006 9:26 pm

I notice that super car top trumps is missing lots of figures and the ones for the GTA are from the slowest ever road test - I've got road tests showing 5.8, 5.9, 6.1 to 60. Quarter mile is between 14.5 and 14.8 sec.

The NSX is a great car, but its long in tooth the same as the GTA and oh so expensive to fix if that legendary Honda reliability gives up!
