Positive Signs from Renault Alpine

Postby mellowyellowa610 » Tue Jun 09, 2015 6:31 am

Any talk of the re-launch of the spares business has got to be positive for us owners and also market values?

:up

Hello Friends

Alpine enthusiasts, this has not escaped you: Alpine is reborn!

A concept car of the next Alpine model could be presented at the 24 Heures du Mans, in a few days.
In parallel, the Société des Automobile Alpine recently announced the relaunch of its business of spare parts for historic vehicles collection.

On this occasion, the company trusted the FAR, , the biggest Alpine community of enthusiasts on the Net to make available to you, today, the list of spare parts (released the 26th of May 2015). This file (in Adobe Reader format) concerns the Alpine A110 up to A610 Alpine and and R5 Turbo.
We will publish any new version of this list.

We invite you to log on to the FAR, to read the Alpine Dieppe forum, to download for free this file. FAR's approach here is totally voluntary and disinterested.

No doubt, in the next months, we will all have to talk, to discuss about the revival of Alpine, an adventure so often desired, started and abandoned. The is there for that! FAR (Forum Alpine Renault) is there for that!

I fancy the remanufactured 364 gearbox for the A110 with Sadev LSD

Only catch it's approx 15,000 euros for the box and another 3,000 for the reinforced driveshafts :-(
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart

Yep saw that on Facebook, got to be good, more spares suppliers, more OE parts and eventually cheaper prices through the supply chain with less dependancy on old gradually deteriorating stock piles...

Can anyone make the pdf available to those of us that could never get a logon confirmation from the FAR Team Selection folk?

Cheers,
Martin

it's not as exciting as everyone seems to be biggin it up to be......theres not loads of exciting stuff you actually will need for the cars like rear lights, brake disks , there's small stuff like a bolt for that and a screw for this etc plus the stuff can only be ordered in france. I saw a preview list of spare parts that could still be remade last year as the actual manufacturers still existed and tooling still existed etc and it wasn't very exciting to read.....

for example the rubber bumper strip on the front of A610, spider, clio v6 etc, I contacted the original mfg last year..... they still have the drawings for the parts but in their infinite wisdom destroyed all the tooling around 5 years ago.... end of that one........ one good thing is we've found someone who can make a new tool and supply the same form and it will be cheaper than the original and look the same.

6 hrs to go to the unveiling.......
