will get some pics up,i dont think my bank balance can get any lower after owning a 5 gtt but then again the body panels are extremely expensive oe/aftermarket,just going to get wheels 18"/17" and coilovers then just concentrate on getting as much power as i can  need to show the local japanese cars a thing or two :)

I hope youre not expecting anything on the GTA to be as cheap as R5 parts.......you may be in for a bit of a shock when you visit the Renault dealer!!!!!!!!!!

After speaking to EBC today, all the GTA clutches have finished from being stock items. They are now exchange only, but exchange as you have to supply them yours first for it to be uprated/reconditioned, so it poses a bit of problem now...

The standard Valeo item is around £200 from Renault

Changing the clutch is an engine and gearbox out job. Get it on a ramp and drop the whole rear chassis down with the engine and box in situ.

Uprated clutches

Postby Tony Smith » Fri Jul 29, 2005 4:42 pm

The EBC and Valeo clutches are only standard rated but I didn't have any problems with 270 bhp. If you want something heavier duty fit an A610 clutch - considerably heavier duty cover I reckon should be ok up to 350 ish bhp.
Alpines - GTA 3.0 Turbo, GTA 3.0 Inj (Project DD), GTA 6.2 V8 (500 bhp) , R32 Skyline GTR, BMW Alpina B10 635 Highline, Alpina B10 E39 5 Series, Jaguar 4.2 XKR, Laguna 205GT, BMW 120d.

If youre after the 350bhp you will need a very big bank balance! To go much beyond 300 will involve a full engine rebuild with big valves, flowed heads and lightened and balanced bottom end. If you use the search facility you will ses that the BHP question has come up over and over and the result is that for 3 or 4k you can get 300bhp but beyond that is seriously expensive.
