Arrived by Unicorn...

Postby Dave Williams » Fri Jul 21, 2017 4:00 pm

This just arrived delivered from Germany by Lord Lucan on a Unicorn...
New old stock rear grille...
I found this on eBay Germany quite randomly...
Quite rare...
The purpose is not to gloat..but just to say there are some useful bits still out there..think this came from a liquidation sale.
Anyone found similar good stuff recently ??Image

not jealous at all.....I have tried to buy one of the reproduction ones from France but no joy, they seem to have run out.

Assume you asked that chap Phil Tim (per the threads on the link below)...I think he had a batch of 20 made..(for 230-250 EUR each).I'm guessing there may be a wait until there is more interest. (You may not be alone ?)..spending 5% on what many owners paid for cars on a bit of plastic seems extravagant for UK owners...but with strengthening prices it might seem less extravagant.

Yes, Phil Tim...but whilst I successfully bought a new pair of rear light covers, I didn't hear back from him on the GTA grilles. I'd like to sort this car out to be very tidy, so there are a few trim items that are ok, but I'd like to improve.
Unicorn as you say.

Sadly not.

I was filling the white space with some human interest..

The real reason is in my house you are never more than 2ft away from a piece of frickin Lego...(typically placed to mame adults)
