Electrical connectors

Postby Alpineandy » Tue Aug 29, 2017 10:48 am

This isn't for the Alpine but I figured it may be useful for any of us electrical dunces on any car including Alpines....

Electrical experts, could you please clarify something for me?
What are these connectors used for ? ;

Are they just for sensors (which I assume have quite low amp/volt/wattage)
or can they be used for things like Stop/Tail or Indicator light wiring (which I assume has a higher amp/volt/wattage...) ?

To me they are "water proof " connectors.
It says rated to 12Amps, so that is enough for feeding a 144 Watt load. Fine for your 25 W tail lamps.
