un1 gearbox question

got a spare un1 box,and i,am thinking of rebuilding(or getting it rebuilt!)so that maybe acceleration can be improved??using different ratios,this is for my 25 V6 TURBO,is it a worthwhile project to do or a waste of time??if worth doing,any idea on ratios etc,want 0-60 speed,not worried about top end really

Im sure Ive said this before....

The R25 has the fastest accelerating box with its 3.89 final drive. You can make it faster by fitting a 4th and 5th from a 21 Turbo.

There is a 4.11 final drive used on a French 25.., but obviously hard to find..

Simon...Master diff is a 5.1 and is sooo low geared your almost going backwards..

are ALL french un1 25 boxes 4.11??
