Yes, the only reason I mentioned it was because the GT30 comes with a few housing styles, one like the GTA original to bolt on the standard end housing, or one with an internal gate but a much larger output orifice.

The direct replacement CC core is the 4x8, but you can just squeeze a 4x10 in on a standard compressor housing, but the GT3071 is larger, so I don't think it will squeeze in.

I managed to get a 10 x 4 in without any major replumbing.
1986 : '86 GTA v6 BW-EFR turbo, with Adaptronic ECU
