#1 It's not my car. It's up to Rob what he accepts for it but considering it has 99% of the parts he needs to make his white atmo into a gorgeous car (and Renault want £130 for just the handbrake mount which he needs) I sincerely doubt he'd be too happy to be told that it's only worth £500.

#2 It can be broken for more than £500 - it has mint rear lights and an excellent rear screen for kick off. There's your £500 right there.

The car is an absolute pearl apart from the front end, which is NOT structural - we took it for a crafty spin down the road! It needs a respray ANYWAY, regardless of the accident damage as the roof has gone all funny as so many do. The brakes are a minor issue which a bit of a clean on the bench will sort out. It has one of the smoothest and quietest engines anyone (including Mr Dell) has ever heard. And if nobody buys it as a whole, I'll buy the engine off Rob - but we'd both far rather see the thing get restored.

I'm not trying to be a cockerel here, I've no vested interest either way, and I'm happy to help Rob strip it - he's helped me out enough!

BTW the new front end is near enough mint in red if anyone needs one...

Come on Richard it's worth more than £500, i'll give you a bag of sand for it Martin :D

Ebay it, sell it as a project with most of the parts, you never know.....

If ebay doesn't get you the required £ break it and you will see £3k for it in parts at least, trust me I know

Rest easy that you have given people the chance to save it as well!

You could probably sell the car for what you paid for it on ebay, but only if you sell off the red repair panels you bought seperately and take that cost out of the equation. Then leave the new owner to source them themselves (assuming they want to repair it). If they then decide to break it they won't need them anyway and you'll recoup some extra cash from the parts.

So my advice. Sell the repair panels (wings, nose, bumper etc) & then list the car as you bought it (+ the front chassis from si21)

You can get about £500 for a complete front end (wings, bonnet, cone and bumper). This is what I offered one to Rob for but I think he found one even cheaper than that.
