A610 Towing Eye Wanted

Hi Folks,

Still looking for an A610 Towing Eye and since it's a while since I last trawled I thought I'd try again - one will turn up eventually I'm sure.

Original Part No is 6001024195 and as far as I can tell the part was unique to the 610. Happy to pay a 'sensible' price - list price currently around £20.

If you want I could take a picture of mine and some measurements so you could try and get one similar from elsewhere (Lot's of cars have them, I remember one of my Company Cars a Ford Focus having one).

Tried to order one several times - all stock seems to have gone. I wish they'd delete the details from the system once the parts are 'finished' - same with lots of other parts that are listed but never arrive. Anyway picture/dimensions (thread size?) might help. I've a feeling that it's something like an M14 fine (1.25?) pitch and I've a fine collection of hooks from renaults to vauxhall and volvo that I've picked up over the past year or three - none of them fit as they all seem to have coarse threads. Maybe I could have one fabricated at a machine shop?

I always live in hope, it took me ages to find an original alternator end cover for the 610 - Martin G came up with one off a Venturi in the end - same part though!
