I've fitted a couple .Mogster and JonV are running the Chinese ali EC Spec units .Think they got them from different sources but the same rad .Seems up to the job and not expensive .Can't remember if you have twin fans or not but essential to have rad scoop fitted .

Cheers Clee, I knew you would know the score, any links for websites to get them from?

I am currently running a single fan but definitely going to change to a double system plus as you say ensure the scoop is correctly fitted and sealed so to speak so the air is moving through the rad efficiently with no leakage around the sides.

I've got a triple core one

Postby Tony Smith » Thu May 10, 2012 5:56 pm

I've got a triple core rad in mine, came courtesy of Paul Sage, think he has a guy make them to order, can't remember how much I paid, it was a few years back anyway.

They list two for the GTA.

Ok so the fans were 2x 10" universal rad fans sold as a pair on eBay for £39.99. The seller was 1stcarparts. I think postage was around £10-15.

Sorry would have posted this yesterday but didn't have all the details to hand.

They certainly keep my car cool in conjunction with the rad. Temps generally lower and in traffic the fans barely start before they turn off again as the cooling is that much quicker.

Hope this helps.

Yes .I think the relays do more work than the fans

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-UNIVERSAL ... 19c91b1306

You don't need the rest of the fitting kit as the lugs shown here do the job ...If only Jon had known that'd been another £5 in the wedding fund
