The Ultimate Alpines

Postby turbodog » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:52 pm

Did anyone win the lottery last weekend ?

1992 A610 Metallic blue, blue leather, only 300 miles covered, right hand drive.

1989 GTA Mille Miles Limited edition, only 60 miles, left hand drive.

Not sure of year but Renault 5 Turbo 2, only 500 miles.

All are from a private collection that was in Singapore.
The cars are now in this country. If you are interested phone Radford Racing on 01753 6508556 and ask for Don.

Too good not to drive. Just need to take care. No point in having a car and keeping it in a museum.

Id rather have a fully restored (ie to better than original) than a never driven car. :)

Number 60 apparently.

Cars should be driven I think, but with so few miles and such a rare car you would be scared to drive the thing. Would be nice to keep one or both of them in the club or UK Alpine realms. Someone will buy the A610 but the LHD Mille Miles is destined for Europe I'm sure.

When I last spoke to the person who has the cars, he is looking for around £22,000 for the Turbo 2, £20,000 for the A610, and when he takes the GTA Mille Miles out of the container and has a proper look at its condition allowing for the fact that it has only covered 60 miles, he will put a figure on it.
Mint condition Mille Miles go for about 15,000 euros. As it is a left hand drive car I have advised him that he may get a better price if he sells it abroad.

Just a thought,
if these aren't UK sourced, will they pass an SVA now so you can register them?

if the car is over 10 years old it doesn't require an sva test
