I was told they have just had a job lot of GTA gear box's from Renault.
The price i had was £470 inc vat and delivery.

You can get a full rebuild for £800 .

Well no , not if it's been JC'd into a wall I suppose .When I had my shift problem sorted I asked for a price on a full rebuild of my unit .

I was told these gearbox's are brand new, bought off Renault as they had a clear out of old parts!

Doubtful, the Lotus Esprit was put out of production due to the fact no more gearboxes were available from Renault, so it would seem strange they have a load in stock..

I have spoken to my contact at renault specialist breakers they have 5 uni boxes brandnew in with other parts bought from renault they all came from spain he will phone me back with the serial no from this info we can see if they are of use in GTAs

Blimey, well then thats a bit of a bargain really to be honest, if they really are 'brand new', even if they are not GTA fitment.

It now appears they are not un1 boxes.

They are definately not UN1s
