Renault A610 catalytic converter

Postby Chris_Von_Bron » Sun Aug 01, 2010 8:14 pm

A610 catalytic converter

Fully intact with no rattles if gently shook. What you see in the photos is what you get i.e. I don’t have any additional fixings/brackets etc.

If you have an A610 and would like a spare cat, grab yourself a bargain (No Reserve).

Collection is fine/preferable due to the weight. Shipping figure quoted is based on shipping within the UK only. For overseas please email me.

Please see my other auctions as shipping cost can be reduced by combined items

Item number: 160461838942
(auction ends 08 Aug, 201020:16:50 BST)

All the best,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Good to see you on the forum.

Problem with these is that the factory have them on special at 100 euro but may be useful to someone to make a decat pipe.

Also check the price for cash in at your local scrap metal dealer as sometimes they will pay decent money for these for the platinum(seriously).

Also by strange coincidence had an American on the phone tonight asking for a cheap crash damaged A610 to convert a Delorean. He was a bit suprised when I told him there was no such thing as only 67 were made RHD!

They don't seem to get the message that the 3 litre turbo is actually a chuffing rare engine, put in cars that don't often get crashed or scrapped!

Scrappies were paying around £40 per cat a while back. Hence why pikeys were plundering main agent forecourts for a while

Thanks for the input guys. If the buyer ends up being a time waster then I'll go to my local scrappy's to find the best price. I couldn't cancel the auction as there are bidders now involved.

Cheers

Enviromentally:
It is better to sell to someone who will re-use it,
Rather than scrap/recycle it, where they will expell a big carbon footprint to make it into another item which then costs a fortune to someone else.
