My Yellow A610 For sale

Well I have decided to put up the 610 for sale after alot of thinking, i am also going to sell my audi too and buy one car instead of two. I had a go in a megane R26.R the other day and have fallen in love with it!!! It handles sooo well and point to point it is faster than the audi and is cheaper to run than both of them!! It just wont be a cool as the 610 but i just dont have the room for all these cars so they got to go.

Yea I know I know, but trust me those R26.R's are one of the best if not the best car i have ever driven!!! It is still built at the alpine factory!!! If my audi goes and i get some overtime in I may still keep it yet!!

Wow, didnt see that comming.

I too have driven a R26, infact had one for a week.
Yes its a very fast modern car. But for me, it certainly does not offer the Driver involvement and feel that you get with a GTA / A610.
Each to their own i guess.......

Good luck with the sale. It's a nice tidy car and certainly worth £10k in my opinion. Did you drive the newer shape Megane (RS250). Just wondering how that compares with the R26R?

Cheers bud, Not driven the 250 yet but I want something rare and interesting like the 610. However if they make a hard core RS250 i may have to reconsider!!!

the 250 is a beast our french photographer has one...... it's prety quick and handles well too..... well worth considering......

Well it did'nt take long a very nice chap has put a deposit down on the 610!!! He is going to take the car to the next stage and make it truly mint, so Andy you will be getting a phone call soon about the paint!! He is also joinging the club asap too.

well thats great news...the sale you wamted and going to a enthusiastic owner that appreciates the car. thanks for recommending me for the paint restoration. this might be interesting, two yellow a610s both mint and up for the best presented alpine award :shock:

Thanks lads, yes it will be well loved and it will be giving john a run for his money!!! :lol:

I will very much be staying in the club and will always have a rare renault/Alpine on the drive, it is just that they may be the new genaration Dieppe built cars!
