Andy - If they were worth saving I would. Sadly they are both too far gone/stripped and crash damaged and rotten (not in that order).

Anyway get mine finished then save the two red atmo "projects" you have had in your possesion for ages :!:

the two red atmo's are saved. ive spent more on the second one than your A610 has cost to repair  just can't get any further with it for lack of funds and time but the plan is to bring two gta's , both in the same colour to prescot next year 8)

Well done Andy; I personally believe we need to keep as many cars on the road as possible; its all very well braking them for cheap second hand parts which I have been grateful for myself BigMVS  but the less cars on the road the less the demand for new parts from Ruin U hence they will stop the supply altogether as it will not be worth their while

The cars are already rare enough as I am constantly told by people in the motor sport fraternity it's good to see one of these, you don't see them very often  I think yto myself really? I see them all the time being involved in the club; to the outside world they are a rare and intersting sight

I believe that cars owned by true enthusiasts will be rebuilt and renevated, it's like they have hit the bottom of the of the downward spiral and will now end up getting better maintained, hence a better quality of car and a better value; look at what is happening to the A610 currently. This can only help to inflate their prices.

Unfortunately it will take a number of people to restore cars who are not looking at them from a totally financial aspect. My Atmo my LeMans have cost me way over the odds and know I will never currently get that money back. However I knew that when I started and dont plan on selling the cars. The difference being that at least I own a car which may or may not become an assest within my lifetime; a new car will only ever depreciate, and the type of cars I like depreciate heavily.

So guys keep on doing it for the love their has to be a balance between both braking and lovin

Please no more guilt trips.....

Listen very carefully I shall say this only once! They are scrap cars, been scrapped already and have been heavily stripped. I am purely trying to save the last few bits before they are crushed/lost forever.

Some bits are saving our Grey car, some Paul Fitzpatricks CAT C fire ball so they are going to save others.

If it was an MOT'd car or one that needed £100 worth of welding feel free to burn me at the stake.

Well said Si, good to see the passion is more important to most than the financial reward.

I bought my car purely because I love the thing to bits and have for many years. I wrote the purchase money off the minute I handed it over and have no interest in what it's worth as it ain't getting sold. It's nice to see the values going up but purely because I think they are worth so much more because of their rarity and brilliance and deserve more respect in the car community than what they get.

I hope the visual work done on my car has helped change people's perceptions in getting the cars looking like they deserve to look and having a bit of cash thrown at them. Thank god we have great and passionate guys like Andy001 and Clee to help sort out the cars in their respective fields. Can't wait to see MVS's restored car now as well. 8)

Sorry both the scuttle panels are provisionally sold. If the sale falls through I will let you know. Have a look if there is anything else and let me know.

Martin,

I am interested in a pair of rear hatch struts if they are any good. I would also possibly be interested in the throttle body sensor/housing in view of my starting issues..

Cheers,
