never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

The Rambler was built from CKD kits in the (one of the?) Belgian plants. LHD only .
I don't remember quite what the shareholding was but at one time Renault owned a fair portion of AMC.
They wanted to 'crack' the US market but knew the unions out there were a real problem (as much as the French unions possibly) so when they desperately needed to raise money they sold their share to Chrysler, who then sold out to Daimler Benz (after Renault and others had declined the offer) who then found out the unions there really were a nightmare!. :D
Alpine A110, Renault Safrane 2.5dt, Hudson Kindred Spirit (Renault powered), transAlp (Honda) and Ducati Multistrada
