OMG - Red/Plum A610 Just Seen Written off - Hope driver ok??

Postby rogeralpine » Tue Nov 16, 2010 10:36 pm

Unbelievable - just seen an A610 involved in some sort of accident just off junction 11 of the M56 going towards Warrington at 10pm this evening. Couple of ambulances and police cars - looked quite serious to say the least - major side impact damage, looked as though the car may have slid - loosing the backend - couldn't see any other vehicle involved. Hope the driver is ok more than anything but very sad to see one of these motors written off!!

Oh no, I hope it's not Jason Black  That sounds like it's too much of a coincidence though? I hope all involved are OK?

Oh no I hope he is ok, that would be a total tragady if it is jason!! Got to watch these greasy roads even more so with RWD. Shame to hear another A610 gone but so long as the driver is ok that is all that matters!

Must be, that's their exit and they left around the right time to be there around then.

Both phones are off and I have sent texts.

Hope they are both OK.

Would have stopped to see what was going on but for the fact we had to get back home for our son - we were going in the opposite direction. Couldn't be certain, but there may have been roof damage as well, hope it didn't flip!

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for everyone's concern. Unfortunately it was Jason and me, on our way back from London after buying John's A610. :( We were literally just two miles from home when it happened. We spun into the armco exiting a roundabout just off the motorway.
I'm perfectly fine and was discharged last night but Jason is still in hospital. He's got a sore shoulder and a bit of a nasty open wound to his hand and a broken finger. They're keeping him in another night to monitor his hand but hopefully should be home tomorrow.
Unfortunately the car looks like it'll be written off. The drivers side took all the impact and was very badly smashed. It was total disbelief it happened at first and Jason is totally gutted about the car, but we're just glad we walked away from it. Could have been a lot worse! But cheers everyone for your comments.
:)
