Well, I could chop in the two and just have the one car....... but that would not be as much fun........ can`t do much on these modern cars..... and I could easily get bored with nothing to put right. :lol: :lol: :lol:

+ one to that Si, totaly agree re modern cars way too complicated, speaking as a ludite where electrics are concerned.
But I just love the whole Jag thing, wood leather and power.
Had a Mk2 with 'Warren Pearce' cams, went well and such a nice engine note. Also had an 'S' type, wonderfull passion wagon.

John, and at the risk of cementing a ludite reputation, why is it an Alpine Jaguar?

That's what they seem to call them in the good old US of A. It was on show at the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale. I suspect the copyright laws on Marques don`t apply over there. :wink:

Ah!!! ...well spotted Andy..... didn't notice that..... just saw the Jag and the word Alpine, got a quick pic for a bit of fun on the forum..... but to be honest, I was more concerned about keeping Mrs C out of the shops with my credit card. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Image

It now appears that in the USA that model is called the "Portfolio" as inscribed on the chrome flash on the side.

.......I`ll tell her that I have left my credit card behind in future, and pay more attention to what I am looking at. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks for that Andy!
John, I can't imagine "Mrs; C." being care free with the credit cards :o
but always a good idea to keep an eye on them;
Built 'she who must be adored' a 'round' gazebo,square etc easier but she wanted round. Just needed a 'round' top/spire to finish.
Leave it to me said she, ther's a reclaimed place i have seen advertised.
She bought a straight, ie middle of ridge, top for £60, :cry:
Problem she is in England, I am here :?
