I like the information on this forum, it helps me a lot....to understand my GTA.
The Alpine didn't move for 8 years..so you can imagine that there was some work.
It was standing in a renault showroom for years, but at least dry.
Some photo's..when i just washed the car.

Some points that have to be done:
The tyers are wasted, dry cracks...all 4 of them.
The multi belt
Spark plugs
Oil...motor/gearbox
Brakefluid
etc
But the real problem was...that the car wouldn't start after it was driven.
The second start... only happend when I get a extra battery with jumpercables...
And the problem was not in the battery....
I was in the wiring ....It took a while but the problem is gone.
When I buy a "new" car, I always put it on a dyno (after some service) just to see how it runs.

This is the D502 with a catalysis so 185 hp instead of 200 hp.
So the logical thing to do .....get rid off the catalysis..

measure everything, ajust the machines and start building

Making the plate for the catalysis

Final result of the catalysis replacment

And then the mufler......sort off

A laser to pin point the middle

A bit of spit and polish

And the result.

fitted on the car

I don't need a horn anymore....
