Well like an old vampire, the blood is going to start trickling back in... So whilst things are slowly going to start warming up again, been looking about for what others have done that may or may not be useful to read across...

From this project, well known on U-tube:

Comes some detail shots with some ideas:

The battery has been relocated, need to dig that picture out...

Bottom end is going to start coming together soon, bit by bit Christmas and New Year, got a certain Grey Tatmo to stick together as a bit of a scrap yard challenge first

Cheers,
Martin

Battery relocated, better CoG, probably not a bad idea:

Wouldnt it be better located in the passenger footwell in a sealed purpose made box? Just that the 610 is placed there because there is nowhere else left, its a poxy location open to the elements and a bit.ch to get to. Surely it would be located the inside of the front axle, much easier to get to and just as low? Is there any benefit from mounting it here, does is act like a counter balance weight to the lardy ar.se being further forward, it would also be quite vulnerable to damage located there ?

Sills chopped away ....We have fibreglass pods to go on so won't have to bother too much on looks .Double skin inside and out over existing side plates once all rot removed .Weld along top edges then bond and bolted through for good measure .Will the fibreglass the inner lower edge to floor etc ....

Got the metal bent so was able to crack on and test fit a lot of bits .Drivers side to drill through and bolt then whip it all off and refit with PU adhesive for good measure .
Test fit running gear again ,new rack and we need to see if the BIG BRAKES will fit behing the 610 rims .
