It also has been noted on this forum that occasionally the speedo needle flies around to full scale and stays there, that in itself is not too bad, but as a consequence the motor that makes the needle fly up, also drives the odometer, now if this happens say, when you are working on the car with the ign on for a long time, if you viewed the odometer, it would be racking up the milage
