In my efforts in trying to be efficient, I have setup and got JILs 3ltr rings done as well, most time went into the 3 piece oil control, as they are a bit of a pain, but got there, so all done now – we have the technology, wink :up

Yum yum..

Liners measured up, marked up for thrust face orientation, so bottom end kit now basically there for assembly.. So Cedric… deal, I’ll do yours if you will come and do mine! :pint

Martin, what are we looking at here? are you making your own rings?
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Gapping the rings .When in the pots there is an optimal gap relative to bore for combustion and oil control .Too tight and the ends rub so the gap is ground to a set distance 0.00?" etc
You can see the rings in the pots in pic 2 and see the gap .Not needed in the usual smokers but Mr F is after something a bit special :super

Front end coming together and fuel system going in .I need to see if I can alter the tank outlet to a larger -8an although it might be OK as is .... have a Walbro 255 for up front that will feed to a larger than shown 2l swirlpot at rear with -8 and -6 fittings ,big Bosch pump and filter to lump .All lines will run through cabin and be teflon inner ,non vapour type stainless braided to bulkhead fittings .
Got to knock up a firewall that will fit to turret fronts and enclose tank .

I have a thicker rear fitted I really need a matching front something along the lines of a A610 version would be great but appears not to be available ..can we have uprated versions made? does someone have a 610 front anti-roll bar they want to part with?

Cheers
