never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin'
That's what I said
The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand
Or so I have read
I'm just here for the gasoline.

I's ready :up

Brakes set and checked on MOT rollers.Got about 10% extra front at max less rear setting.
Extra camber on rear and heavy poundages front and rear. All to best guess settings atm .

Only undecided is whether to run servo or not :thinking Pedal feels a lot better/firmer without but I think my leg may get fecked in short order.

Well it's a punishing job on your legs fixing and repairing Alpines, I would go for the assistance. LOL

Shake down successful :up

No fails,no drama, and car all still in one piece .I have got the brakes bedded now and on the last few runs started to leave them later and stamp harder .I was braking far too early but it's a good 7 years since I've been on track and the car all new parts and untested.
Needs a lot more track time as I'm the weakest link .The car performed faultlessly .

Thanks for the support today Rob,Terry,Paul,Vince's TVR pal and of course Ryan for all the help but especially MoFo who couldn't be there today but without whom neither could I :pray

Here are a few photos from yesterday at Curborough to prove that JIL completed a decent number of runs without any serious issues. Apologies for the quality -if only the person holding the camera was a photographer!

And this is Ryan hitching a ride in a TR7 V8. He also had a ride in one of the Stratos (Strati?) which may be described as Life-changing :crazy

JIL looks flat through the corners, a good sign :-)

Nice to see Jil back on the track :up

Looks like a grand day out, let me know if there is another one and I'll come and have a gander.

Day was a great success and a big step forward in Jils development,Well done Lee, kudos to MOFO mods and Scoff for mapping, she goes a treat. :Cheer
I'm glad I didn't drive though cos all of those fellas were hero's, James ( Jango ) being one of them, being slung around in a stripped out, caged, 4.6 litre V8 TR7 was a memory that will never fade, I've never laughed so much! Thanks so much.
Stratos ride (red one ) was a dream come true, car built by the owner and running an Emerald controlled 3.2 Alfa V6, used in anger, another Stratos ( black/yellow/white) was running the same set up, but with Turbo'd, putting out 440 ATW, ............not sure I wanted a ride in that......'course I did, but didn't get chance to ask....started to feel like a car slag.
Great day, great people.
