Just a little blemish and on the mains anyway .
Bottom end ,de-glaze liners and pop on heads and we're done for the most part on the lump .

Depends on bits arriving and stupid carbs  .I've not bothered to look at them too closely yet but there's lots of little pipes that need replacing
Grinder is aimed at that subframe bolt next ,the heat from that should get it shifted

It appears from your pic that the alloy pipe attachment has rotted away on the old one....Two questions, where did you get the "new" one from, and.... is there enough meat in the housing of the old one to tap and fit a brass pipe connection like the one on the other side of the unit in order to repair it?.

New one is an old one from another setup .
Probably enough meat to tap it ,wall section is thick enough but I think that would reduce the bore too much as it's only about 6mm and you'd lose 2/3mm of that with the new pipe .Probably out of solid on that side as opposed to brass fitting as the valve unit is very close .
Only real solution is to ali weld a new bit on .

Thanks for that Lee.....I had the same problem on mine, but it was only badly corroded but was the cause of my loosing coolant. This does appear to be another common fault (another one  ...surely not). I do know of a number of these that have failed. It does appear that the corrosion starts after a number of years due to the deteration of the hose which causes the coolant to weep through and when it meets the air, pitting occures which eats away around its junction with the main body. Mine had not corroded through fortunately, so I was able to clean it right down to the alloy and with two pack epoxy build it up back to original plus a bit keeping the original profile. I then slipped a length of adesive heat shrink over it right up to where the vacuum valve sits...applied a hot air gun, and now the coolant goes no where near the external alloy. It has only been on for a few months now and around 300 miles covered, I took off the hose to check a week ago, and it all appears OK.
Pic shows repaired unit prior to the heat shrink being applied.
