Car is now going very well, just completed Macon all stages with no hiccups except lack of fuel. And big grins .

The navigation was great thanks to Jon Kenny's ingenuity of fitting my European sat nav into the old stereo slot.
And the sounds were fab thanks to him fitting some top notch speakers.
Will let him post a pic of the conversion if anyone else is interested.
Clears the wires, looks great.
He also adapted the sony head unit to be used using the cars existing controls.
Can't recommend him enough.

I have also located a company that believes it can adapt an alpine head unit to using the vehicle controls. Based in amesbury near solstice park.

Having spent 2 hours today in the rain sorting out/bodging my handbrake. Thanks to Lee and Tony Law for your assistance.
Managed to get it through its mot.
My rear handbrake cables are clearly to long.
If anyone else is going to have the rear brake conversion.
The cables need to be at least an inch shorter!!

Now has another years mot, so hopefully can sort something before the next one.
Although as it's working fine may just leave it alone haha
Thought I was pissed adjusting the Lhs the adjuster is buckled badly.

Only other gripes were gearbox leaking, where's Edd china needs some sealant.
And both turbo drains leaking oil.
Both front top suspension mounts seriously loose. Mot guy showed me!! then we tightened them up.
Apart from that all good, he loved the car then introduced me to another gta owner.
Dominic who has a black atmo. Hopefully hear from him here on the site soon.

So need to find a good metal smith to machine flat turbo drain flanges, any ideas in Hampshire? John's workshop is just to far to go to have this done. Hopefully that will cure leaks. Failing that it's remake manifolds to level turbos I'm hoping this is not necessary. I have previously spent a day removing old gaskets and sealant, combined with checking the mating faces..

Regarding ceramic coating of manifolds,
If anyone else is considering this mine appear to be flaking on the outside!!!
Hopefully the inside is behaving better :down

Having driven to prescot and back, I can say my tracking is now massively out!!
Which us a pain considering I had it all adjusted prior to Macon.
This is all due to me taking up the excessive slack out of the top mounts to pass its mot.
So will get it retracked ASAP, as a bonus however it has stopped my steering wheel shake. Haha

So top tip check your top mounts for tightness, as I also found the rear left was seriously slack as well.

Again all these can be prevented with loctite not to lock the threads but as witness marks as a visual check to see if there has been any movement. I will again post up the loctite number. I used to use it on lynx drive shaft securing bolts.

Torque seal is the one! Comes in various colours.
Visual indicator to check if there has been any movement.
Basically all you do is run it down the thread and on to the nut; So if they move the line is no longer straight.

Car again drove impeccably back from Bromley, as well as sitting in a traffic jam for an hour.
So big rad was working well. Grins all round. All I can say is if you have the time and inclination this Is a top conversion.
However you may have a problem convincing John Law Engineering to do another. But if you can its worth it. Like all things this complex there will be teething problems, but I love it and so do my boys.
And as for the engine bay it's a work of art.

Car currently with reeder air, trying to get the aircon to work post custom instal and re manufacturer of all pipe work.
Fingers crossed they can get the pipes enough clearance this time.
Last time they melted due to being really close to manifolds. It's a bit tight to say the least.
