Crazy idea for Alpine

Postby xranalli » Sat Oct 28, 2017 9:05 pm

Hi folk
Some days ago I watched the program "wheeler dealers", in California is trendy to revamp classic car with electric power train,
what do you think about an electric GTA or A310?
With the right components is possible to have 200km of range with 100-150kW of power, of course the car becames heavier...

I read about a 911 by some folk in Wales...this set-up would clearly work in an Alpine...

I probably could not deal with the absence of sound...but for a cool daily driver...why not.
Perfect use of a wreck...but not for a nice example

I'm guessing not cheap to convert at the moment..but I'm sure kits or donor parts from Teslas etc will get cheaper over the next 10 years.
