Does anyone have the part number, Valeo or Renault for the correct Air Con compresser unit for a GTA?

slightly off topic- but this might be solution to all those GTA owners running into global warming (or a hot summer)- spotted by following another thread......

Rupert-
From parts book (on this site....) it seems to depend where on the engine its mounted. If on the left with a V belt then:-
D500/1- 60 01 009 429- chassis earlier than k00001156
D500/1-60 01 009 922 after that

If on the right (I'm guessing these are cars with CATS) D501 and D502- type 734 its 60 01 009 167 pre 88 and 60 01 022 566.
A610 its a different part number again.

I think they are all SANDEN units- in my experience the air con people seem to have access to lists for all the compatibility information, but I may have got a good one.

Cheers

I'm pretty certain they all had the engine in the cetre of the back..... Isn't that why they're called 'Rear Engined'
Alpine A110, Renault Safrane 2.5dt, Hudson Kindred Spirit (Renault powered), transAlp (Honda) and Ducati Multistrada
