Renault 5 Turbo 2 Alloys

Postby BIG_MVS » Wed Jun 27, 2007 11:38 pm

Went to see these tonight to put on the GTA but the fronts stuck out too much, like I have been told that the "Le Mans" Front wheels stick out too much on a normal GTA. I never got around to trying the rears but presume they are the same offset/fitment as on the Turbo 2.

Anyway after we got talking they were originally for a T2 and were never fitted to the car as it was written off. These wheels and tyres cost nearlt £2000 from image and are stunning.

Maybe of use to someone with a T2 or to put on a Le Mans?

T2 & GTA are not the same fitment.

GTA is 4 x 100

T2 is 4 x 98

Need some wobbly bolts or a bit of machining.

They are 4 x 100 wheels for sure as I fitted the front wheel to my GTA with no problems. Just the offset was wrong as they stuck out a good inch too far? I've seen a Turbo 2 running Le Mans wheels somewhere so aren't the T2's 4 x 100 pcd?

They will fit, but the bolts wont sit properly on the seat, unless they have floating collars.

David, can you supply the Rimstock wheels to the Le Mans offset (in black) 16inch fronts and 17 rears?

Nope, well yes if you also use hubcentric spacers.

I just have a problem that the Le MAns rims don't clear the new Peugeot calipers... if I space them out, then the wheels will stick beyond the wheelarch so was considering other options. The black rimstocks look pretty good. But you're saying I'd still need to space all four of them out to fill the arches.
ALternatively do you still do the Le MAns three piece replicas?

ah yes of course, to the hi tek/alpine ones...

I'm determined to get my brembos to work though. The calipers and discs bolt straight on, no spacers needed, just got to get the wheel to clear the caliper.
