Theft

Last night two scumbags (that’s as polite a phrase as I’d wish to use) broke into my garage and stole two pristine GTA Turbo front rims. These were new unused rims without tyres fitted waiting to replace the old tired ones on the front of my car.
They also took one rear GTA Turbo wheel which had a heavily worn tyre on it. They left the other rear wheel because I heard them at the side of my house and disturbed them.

If your approached or you see any adverts selling two new rims plus a used one then could you let me know.

My Insurance company for household and contents exclude the loss or theft of any parts to do with motorised vehicles so I cant claim under them.
My car insurance will cover for the loss but it’s going to cost me an excess of £250 plus I lose 15% NCD.

If you need them, I have a full extra set of GTA Turbo wheels. I got them with the car. They look in good enough order, though would be much nicer with a drop of paint. Let me know if you need them.

They crop up on ebay in various conditions, and I'm sure Paul at ARR has some about or can help.

Get a quote from renault (or Simon autos or someone)to replace the wheels for new ones and then use the money to buy a nice aftermarket set....much sexier!!!

Forgot to mention.
When those scumbags stole the new rims they where wrapped in bubble wrap with sticky tape with the word 'Schlumberger' printed on it.
Bearing in mind they're probably as thick as planks (the fact they nicked GTA alloys reinforce that) they may leave the bubble wrap on!
