Still too dear for me but a test drive with a trolley jack, tools and a pair of standard wishbones waiting round the corner could be an idea!

Seriously though it's a nice clean car depsite the 'personal' modifications.

HOWEVER, what the vendor doesn't mention is that there's a problem with the carburettors at the moment giving running and starting problems. John was considering a fuel injection conversion just before he sold it and I think that was one of the main reasons for the sale.

Not sure about the starting problems Stephen.

I bought a car from this guy and spotted the GTA in the garage, started from cold first turn of the key. NIce quiet engine.

I told him the gearbox mounting was split, he has since had a new one fitted.

I think the car is a sound starting point for a GTA, its let down by a poor re-spray, hence the stickers.
