Hi there,

Are you sure you want to do that?

I have a few of the later 3ltr 12V n/a injected engines, and pretty sure have the ecu to go with them, or could sort anyway. Certainly have loads of hardware so could sort something out. Also have the earlier manifold and carb setup etc complete, so could be sorted one way or the other. I don't have a complete earlier 2.9ltr n/a GTA engine, although I do have heads and cams, and should have a set of the higher lift Volvo 280E cams stashed.

Must say would be nice to see a set of nicely ported atmo heads and possibly upgraded with 45mm inlet valve i.e. +1mm (re-machined 3ltr n/a from 46mm) and 39mm exhaust - give a good I/E flow ratio of 80%, 280E cams, and a good set of exhaust header pipes in a car. Loads of crisp mid-range torque and sufficient breathing to hang on in there at the higher revs a little cleaner and longer... umm yes making me think. Take the 3ltr lump, drop out the low compression pistons, swap over to the 24V pistons, 2.5ltr ported heads etc, that would be very interesting..

Which 2.5 ltr turbo block do you have, is it cross bolted mains?

Cheers,
Martin

youze asking me Si? Yes can do, not a problem, I guess you would want to disable all the old over zealous knock retard code though?

I do like the way the P4 rep community install the PRV in n/a format - nice, have some great photos from the club sec. finger licking good  pity they are all std internals, but their headers are the dogs
