Door opening

Postby peterg » Fri May 13, 2005 1:10 pm

Both little motors that open the doors have now died on the GTA so I'm using manual overide, but due to the bucket seats and harnesses its not as easy as on a standard car.
How much do new motors cost and how difficult to fit? I take it they are located in the B pillar area behind where the seatbelt it?

Hi
Did one on my A610 last month. Took about an hour. If the GTA is similar you need to get seat, trim, speaker and seat belt out. The lock is quite accessible provided you are a Gynacologist with muscles like a Blacksmith. My lock had superceded from a 60 Alpine number at a million pounds to a 77 Renault 11 part number for about £25.
Good luck :?
Driving an A610 is just so sublime.

No speaker, seat on velcro (I assume you mean rear) and no seatbelt so it should take even less time! Ive seen quite a lot of naked women....does that qualify me as a gynacologist?
