Can anyone shed some light on my Spider problem please? i took the car into the local Renault dealer for an MOT and the brake lights were sticking on as the pedal was not returning all the way up, they sorted this and the MOT. I drove it home to feel and hear a metalic clunking noise from underneath at the front end of the car, thought it must be something to do with the brake linkage, went back, all checked and tested, road tested and source of noise cannot be located after 4 hours ! they think that as the car was jacked on the 4 points underneath, that the weight of the car on the supsension may have affected the shocks , they attatched a listening device to the shocks and took me out for a test drive and there did seem to be a noise from this area, although i reckoned that any noise could travel through the frame/suspension? the shocks are original and the car has only travelled just over 3k , any ideas greatly appreciated as i reluctantly have had to leave the vehicle with them

Many thanks
Steve
