They are that easy in fact that even I can change them. Did you not change the plugs in yours when you had it Martin?

I was not convinced it is just a simple change the plugs job i think it could be a bit more involved,as it is a proper miss fire not just a little lumpy like the 610. I thought the 610 was easy to change the plugs when i did mine!!!

I am sure if it was plugs or ignition it would be fixed already.
It's the same rule with cars and houses, fix all the obvious faults or they don't sell well....
As a buyer you need to factor in potential costs and hope it's less in reality.

Spark plugs on the later engine are a pain to change. Only on the side with the inlet manifold covering them.

Although they are a long life plug so you would generally be changing the same time the engine is due for a timing belt change which is engine out.

I am suprised that the £12K offer as is did not buy it, but from the repsonse John's had seems there may be people out there willing to pay a little more.

If it was mine I'd have taken the £12K.

However the Oselli car went in auction for £17K ish and the buyers premium puts that closer to £20K and that turned out to have a destroyed bellhousing so perhaps the vendor is not being too greedy in comparison but the car does need some TLC.

If I hadn't spanked the red clio money on the Spider Cup I might have thought about it a bit more seriously but I would have wanted it a bit cheaper so can't see that a deal would have been possible.

Still has to be a reasonable buy for someone at £12-£13K and where would you find another (assuming you wanted to!)

12k was a good offer, due to the amount of work needing to be done, the problem i have is the vendor will not say what he will take for the car!!! He keeps telling me he has somone else who is interested!!! But it has not sold so i dont know how true that is, maybe they have offered him less.

The Oselli was in better condition as i went and had a look at it even though it was a repaired car plus it is the super rare bi turbo!!

Unfortunatley it self destructed though and is now in pieces!

I don't know of any other one apart from the three 400s and those are all £££

It does have an MOT but there is another 300 atlantique in Mille miles this month for 18k euros. I'm guessing it's also rhd but if it's lhd that put this one 9k. I think he should have taken the 12k as is.
