GTA Seats

I guess that i suffer the same fate as most other GTA owners, that the seats are looking tired and have worn through in the usual places.
Im new to this forum but have been a member of CAR a couple of times, and owned the same GTA for the past 12 years.

So to the point, does any body Know the best way of Getting the seats done?

Have been thinking about going to a car trimmer, has anyone had experience of these in the Birmingham/Warwickshire area?

Has any one got a full set of leather seats suitable for an Alpine blue GTA they would be willing to sell

Have spent the last few days looking through all the correspondence on both this forum and that of CAR.

According to 'LeMans24' www.specialistrenaultbreakers.co.uk were breaking a GTA. I think this was April time?

I received the following note for publication in the next Newsletter:-


If anyone is interested, I know the location of a one owner,, low mileage GTA turbo, red with leather interior.
To all intents and purposes the car looks abandoned in a garden along with several other cars and a boat! It is covered in leaves and surface mould and the tyres are almost flat. However, beneath the mulch is a totally original car, in as far as I was able to ascertain, excellent condition. The downside is that according to the tax disc, it has not moved for 5 years.
I made a reasonable bid on the car but the gentleman who owns it, although a pleasant enough character, has a rather inflated idea of it’s value. A little bit of serious negotiation may sort this as, by the time I departed, he had already reduced his original value considerably.
Anyone interested give me a call on 07710 068444 and I will give you directions. The car is in North Yorkshire, five minutes from the A1(M).

No other correspondence has appeared about this GTA as far as I know.

Maybe you have sorted your seats out and this is too late!
