Wow, hes patched my car up !.
I was led to believe there was front subframe damage where it is bonded to the chassis.

Would really need someone like Clee to go over it with a detailed inspection.
The seller did contact me some time ago about my sale price of 7.2k 2yrs ago, and he seemed to think it was still worth that. Given the chassis damage i would say its only worth the sum of breaking up the parts.

If you look at the photos on ebay you can see where the frame has gone back on drivers side.

Not worth anywhere near 7.2k or to be honest the current asking price - the cars recorded as being in a fight now, in insurance eyes the price is scrap value and will be if there is ever any subsequent claim in the future, the cars been paid out as a total loss.

I spoke with them about the car when I was looking, they firmly believe that it is a bargain, that GTA's regularly sell for more than £8k and that they will appreciate quickly.

They also get pretty obnoxious when you tell them about the prices you can buy cars for

It's funny because when I saw that advert it reminded me of the old gag in the film Airplane 'I chose the wrong week to give up glue sniffing' what an opening statement to accompany the photograph of the car!
