It's not that bad and has come out pretty much intact .Calipers need a refurb ,intake hose is fecked and general surface shite .Also that bloody tar BigM had sprayed all over it is a right pain

Rot ,not too bad but need to give it a thorough inspection once all the front gear is off .There is some on the leading edge of the footwells .

Brings back happy memories seeing my old faithful sat there.

Yes I don't think that "rust treatment" I had "professionally" done just after I got the car did any good, probably the opposite to be honest

In good hands though and will be nice to see all the underneath bits looking mint 8)

Bit harsh Don Dini? I understood he doesn't like plaques or anything non OE so probably why he didn't take you up on the offer. I do like what you have done though and if I ever get another 610 I'll buy one from you or I might find a horses head sat next to me in bed

Engine ancillaries all stripped off for clean and refurb .

Turbo looks/feels to be binding slightly under thrust and evidence that something has gone through it with slightly chipped blades .
Image
Front gear all off for same + we have some rot to attend to on both leading edges .

All parts back from blasters .
I have also stripped the hubs bare now but like a dolt should have left the old bearings in for blast so these will have to be done by hand ..unless I re-fit the old remnants ...
Wishbones,sub-frame etc is being powder coated so they also will be fully re-bushed along with balljoints .
Engine covers brackets and the like will be painted after etch prime .Nothing bling just nice and clean 8)
