Door Lock Mechanism and or locking solenoid

Postby blueg33 » Sun Sep 29, 2013 8:31 pm

Hi Folks

It looks like a need an offside door lock mechanism, mine is stiff (oo er missus). I have dismantled it as far as possible and lubricated etc. The solenoid has also given up the ghost.

It all still locks with the key but not enoug oomph in the solenoid to work the mech. I have cleaners all of the connectors.

Mine is one of the later style.

ps. What a fiddly way of doing a door lock!

I was soooo careful with the plastic clips! Broke the clip through the manual door release handle, but that was easily replace with a stainless nut and bolt.

If only we had a shop where people could buy these sort of things instead of cosmic ordering

It does seem a shame that the club does hold a lot of parts and does nothing with them ...It's dead money MrD ...Get it listed or send it all up to Derbyshire and I'll do it .We here at Funkydory inc have all the skills and parts knowledge + 7 years experience of online trading .All we would ask is we can wet our beaks a little from time to time

Alpine Part(y)bags?

Do we get cakes and balloons? Or just a free rat with every order over 50 quid?

As long as it's not the last one everything is for sale. If it's the last one everything is for sale at the right price...
