Rot repairs all done and lump dropped back in to refurbed subframe .
Got another to drop back in once I pop the box back on but on hold for suspension ....Both GAZ and Spax are being very slow ...........silly season ??? Over a month wait atm ...if you lucky ... :axe

Pics from the welding wizard .
The turret on pass side had started to move ,glue going and bottom plate seperating .All pulled back into place and fixed + bolted through at top for good measure .Both arch pockets replaced with new units .

For those that were interested in the door openers previous, here are a couple of pictures of the cheap import opener (£4.99) mounted on the original mechanism. Small semicircle removed to accept shape of unit, original mounting holes OK

Back in .
All rot gone ,new bushes,arb hangers,engine mounts and fixings ,refurbished brakes all round,gear linkage bush and subframe and wishbones refurbed ..
Got to fit rack gator ,bleed hyd and fill with vitals then MOT .Should be ready for collection when Trev gets back from his jollydays .

Close but no cigar .....Main brake line to rear needs replacing ,one rear caliper is not playing nice ,handbrake ,and a plate bulb .......+ rad fan seized .
No biggies ,found a good old fan and managed to swap without removing the front end .......Brake line to do and reset rears .
