No mate, haven't spoken to him yet, will probably give him a bell tomorrow,
been doing a little homework on it today maybe he hasn't got a cover for that side so i'll get one priced up and they ain't cheap! even from the factory :( !
Apparently the car has been in Monaco previously according to Graham Sauls site and this was the first time it went on the market... :? and I don't believe it's only got 2K miles on the clock and a broken headlight cover seems just bad luck  ????

I'll get to the bottom of it though and i know these things well enough to spot an honest one or not..... we'll see I'll keep you posted. :P

If the odometer is through the ECU, etc, it must be virtually impossible to 'clock' I would've thought. Although, if it was first registered in Monaco, the trip from there to the UK must account for about 1,000 of those miles.

It also seems pretty cheap, so I wonder if there is something a bit dodgy with it. :?

meeting with vendor a week on saturday taking my wet wether gear and crash helmet and driving it back to france, no fun if it's on the trailer behind you. :? They guy's dad phone me yesterday morning also one minute you can't reach anyone and then the whole family calls me! Aparently the previous time he put it on the market he withdrew it as his heart got the better of him and he couldn't go through with it  but now he has a yellow Rhd windscreen model which he keeps in st Tropez so he can let the red one go.

the wheels need a refurb, I've got a spare set of new ones with tyres on so that's that sorted, waiting on Alpine for the headlamp cover or i'll use a pair of Perspex ones from Rupert, and it's got a couple of marks on the grey paint, red is perfect, that's the main thing so it's mine for the taking

no mate i'm driving straight to France.. weather permitting... :? i'll be taking the blue and silver race car much more fun!!!! sequetial 6 speed and more horses!!! say no more

wheels..... i've just got a set from someone i know and it was hard, i'm short myself after wrecking 2 rears at oulton park in june I just have enough OZ's for my 2 race cars I've got spare standard wheels though, in fact next week i'm collecting 6 rears and 2 fronts ( brand new) from a guy i know over here I've also ended up buying some A610 wheels recently as they are the same fitment but don't look as good but they fit .... just to get me out of trouble for the circuit!

the thing with spider wheels now is you see them you buy them as they are like rocking horse Sh*t

the wheels on the red one are available if you want them as a spare set for tracking the car, aparently they are straight just the finish is a bit in need of a refurb as i was going to swap them with the new ones and send them away to be done myself. let me know if you're interested.

Andy
