Hi guys I have a real dilemma....As you can see from this forum thread I managed to buy this unique 2,700 mile car some months back........ Its been polished and driven a few times but nothing major as its just perfect...

However here's my Dilemma.... I have been offered my another one of my 'Grale' car's, a near perfect Mercedes 280sl Pagoda which is also concourse condition.....What do I do ?? I don't have room for another car !!! :(

It really is your call.

Only thing I will say is that Alpines have a rather small market so it may take a while to find a buyer (price dependent of course) for your A610. One thing you could do if it's space rather than financial is to approach a few Renault dealers locally (obviously Cannock might be a bit cheeky) as I'm sure they would happily have it on display in their showroom. Free storage!! And with the new Alpine coming out next year it would be a good marketing tool for them.

If you get stuck however I will gladly relieve you of it's burden for £5,000 :wave

Keeping it alongside the Pagoda would be an ideal scenario..... But the funds just are'nt going to stretch that far.

Plus the boss would have something very defining to say on the subject...

If it's concourse will you drive it? I have done some of my classic bikes up to that level, I have now sold them bar one, which I will sell as well soon as I thought I would show them, but never had the time. To ride them would then meen hours of cleaning. So in the end all you do is look at them :crazy
The fun of owning a classic to me is also driving it and having fun in it not just looking at it. If you don't the rare day you want to tack it out it wont go, and you end up spending hrs getting going, by then the moment has past.

All of my cars are taxed and insured and all get used...The nicer older stuff only in dry weather conditions.....

The Pagoda would sit nicely alongside my W124 E320 Convertible and make a nice appreciating pair I think????

But im still on the fence on doing the deal ??? Its like dating your high school sweetheart and then your dream Hollywood pin up comes and asks you out !!!! LOL

Hang fire 'til after the weekend. OrigineRS will showcase Alpine's talent and will undoubtably stimulate some brand interest.

Bring the car to Origine RS at the weekend.

www.OrigineRS.com

At least you'll have one final drive and outing if you decide to sell and there will be loads of prospective buyers there too!

Are there no tickets at the entrance type of thing, incase someone decides to show up at the last moment?
I am undecided as if I want to drive all that way if its raining... :crazy
